and Alumni Site

The original intent of this site was to provide a historical record of the years Suncoast Sound existed as part of the drum corps community. A by-product of this effort is the alumni list, which will hopefully serve as a way to keep at least some of us connected. Unfortunately, not everyone has a computer or access to the Internet...

While scouting for information to assist in the development of this alumni site, we also looked into the current status of the Alumni Association. Information has been difficult to come by, and although we're not absolutely sure, we believe the Alumni Association is now defunct. (If you are a visitor to this site and have information to the contrary, we would appreciate any update you can provide.) 

In the meantime, we have managed to develop a few contacts for people involved in previous years' alumni associations. We are looking for a volunteer (or more than one) who would be interested and willing to follow up on some of these leads.

Re-organizing an Alumni Association would have obvious benefits (here's where we try to sell you on the idea). Not only would it allow us to keep this site growing, but it would also go much further than this site ever could in keeping us in touch with each other.  In addition, it would make organizing reunions much easier.
